More Way Too Late Valentine's Day Stuff

We are here today with a recipe?

Not a recipe. But like a promised post

Oh yeah! So I previously made an Amazon Prime Rant Post. (if you haven’t read that yet please do). So on there I was complaining about how these heart molds didn’t arrive. Now that I have the molds, Chocolate and I made the chocolates!

Something kind’ve resembling hearts?

A little peek into Chocolate’s fridge. So these things were really easy to make.

You first need toppings. Lots and lots of toppingsss

happy SaTuRdAy day. I eat chocolate every day that the name of the day ends with a y.

We just have chocolate, obvi, then pretzels, marshmallows, sprinkles, graham crackers, as well as chocolate chip cookies, which are not shown, and Brookside pomegranate flavored chocolates, also not shown.

We melted the chocolate first, by putting those Ghiradelli chocolate chips in that bowl over a pot of boiling water.

And that’s Kat’s beautiful photography skills.

So the next step is to pour the chocolates in the molds. We used a ziplock bag trick method that Kat didn’t take a picture of you gotta use that vast imagination.

Not everyone has that mind capacity like you Chocolate.

Yes but they can try to. MIND CONTROL!

Yeah that was the beginning of our little ditty. We made dark chocolate and sprinkles, dark chocolate and pretzels, and even s'mores! You can literally do anything

Just a side note, you need LOTS of chocolate. We used like a whole bag of dark chocolate chips and 5 king sized hershey bars. And we still needed like a tiny bit more.

You just have to put them in the fridge to set for like 20-30 minutes.

The s'mores one is so good. I also ate a rice krispie one and a sprinkles one. Here’s the full list:

• sprinkles
• cookie crumbs
• graham crumbs
• pretzels
• some random one chocolate with one pomegranate chocolate sticking out of it
• homemade rice krispie with chocolate filling
• a few had both dark and milk chocolate filling in it, and it looked really cool

Honestly, if these had came for Valentine’s Day, I’m pretty sure my friends would treat me like a holy person.

I gave Hershey kisses to two homerooms in my school and everyone worshiped me

Yeah I gave out nothing :D. But I’ll definitely give some of those chocolates out on Monday.

I mean, if you had got it in time, then you wouldn’t have been able to do it with me :(

True. Some good did come from that EVIL amazon prime.

Okay back to the topic. Chocolate and I recently just saw the Lego Batman movie, so we decided we were gonna review it. WITH NO SPOILERS :D

Joker loves Batman as an archenemy like a love song, baby.

Batman is so MAJESTIC. Can’t stop the Batman.

Yo yo yo Batman is already by Joker and that cool looking purple girl over there.

I was Batman for Halloween last October. And I go back to it all the time.

I was Batgirl for halloween last LAST October.

We are very obsessed! *chuckles evilly* We don’t deal with outsiders very well.

Yeah the movie was not disappointing unlike the Superman vs. Batman.

Somewhere along the line, Batman lost his parents and his heart. He was staying out all night, and his butler had enough. We all knew Batman was going to win, but they had nice cosmetics. The blood looked reallllllll.

Listen to dat critique dohhh. But for real. Lego Batman was that good good movie.

They dissed Suicide Squad, putting them at an all time low. Batman’s been trying to fix his pride but it’s broken, so he just disses other people.

Fun fact, the rotten tomatoes score for this movie was higher than Suicide Squad and Batman VS. Superman combined.

And Batman with his fists. Beat up Superman pretty bad. With that green gem. Cryptonight. The mysterious guy that stays up through the night.

PS if anyone gets anyone of Chocolate’s song references than uh. You two should be friends. But I am her best friend. And no one gets any of the references. So if anyone tries to get in the way of that, I WILL FIND U with my feline senses.

And he’s scared to be lonely. Since his half of a heart is going to break again. Probably. Maybe. He’s just looking for somebody to turn to, somebody he can miss.

Omg that’s literally… Okay no spoilers but that was SUCH a perfect reference. I am proud of you my friend.

He’s living in a bubble, and can’t see the trouble. Completely chained to the rhythm of the average life of a night time vigilante with a broken heart.

Rants with Kat; Amazon Prime Edition

Hey everybody, it’s Kat. So yesterday was Valentine's Day. I like valentine’s day because it is all about love, and of course, chocolate. This year I wanted to do something extra special for my friends. After watching “LaurDIY”, I was inspired to buy these heart molds off of Amazon.

I bought this mold on Thursday and had my dad get Prime shipping so I could get these molds before Valentine’s Day. I wanted to fill those molds with milk chocolate and other toppings to make heart chocolates. I also watched a How to Cake it video that got me to gather stuffing for my chocolates (marshmallows, sprinkles, pretzels, graham crackers).

So I’m all hyped up, got that prime 2 day shipping and all that good stuff. But then guess what. This darn company rips me off. So I ordered on thursday night right, but DO YOU KNOW WHEN THIS THING CAME????? Tuesday, Valentine’s Day, at like 5:30 pm!!

Hehe… that is just sad.

I GAVE AMAZON 4 DAYS. I was so disappointed that I couldn’t give my friends chocolate.

I was planning on shipping the molds back, but my mom said I could use them next year. :p I will try to make the chocolates at a later time to give to my friends.

Arts and Kats #1: Valentine's Day Garland

Hey guys it’s Kat here, and I’m here with a Valentine’s Day Decor tutorial thingy. I know Valentine’s Day is literally like, a week away, but I have to show you guys this. So I got inspired by one of my favorite youtubers, Wengie, to create this decor.

It’s a garland, conversation heart, thingy. It added nice color to my plain wall, so I would definitely give this a thumbs up.

Materials:

• String
• Colorful construction paper
• Hot glue
• A black and red marker
• Tape

Step #1:

• Find a heart template on the internet and print it out. Cut it and then use it as a stencil to trace hearts on your construction paper. I cut 8 hearts.

Step #2:

• Write cute messages on your newly cut hearts, like “Be Mine” or “XOXO”.

Step #3:

• Free hand (or get a template) a triangle on a plain sheet of paper. Cut that out and then trace your stencil onto construction paper. I used 18 triangles.

Step #4:

• Write the letters onto the triangles of the words, “Happy Valentines Day”. (I left out the apostrophe). Make sure to write only one letter on each triangle.

Step #5:

• Lay out your hearts and triangles by a piece of string. Arrange to your desired positions. To make glueing easier, I flipped the word, (so day would be arranged as yad) and then turned them to the empty side. That way I could just go and put a dot of glue on each piece of paper.

Step #6:

• GLUEEEEEEEEE :D (it was actually the most frustrating part) :P

Step #7:

• Once the glue is dry, pick up the string and use tape to stick it on any desired surface.

Some notes: I would use red marker for the hearts and black for the triangles. I think it’ll show better that way.

Question of the day: Does anyone do DIYs?

Answer of the day: Most of  the time, no. When I watch DIY videos, I always want to do them but never have the supplies. For the DIY I made, it was super simple and I just happened to have all the supplies. All the other times, why would somebody by like, packs of art supplies, so to speak, for one DIY? It’s unreasonable, so they just don’t do it. If you have the supplies, I say go for it.

Today is the first day of February (if anyone doesn’t keep up with the calendar) and Valentine’s Day is around the corner. In two weeks. That’s around the corner right?

Sure :p. We all have that struggle about what to gift people for any occasion really, so we are here to help.

For those people who just don’t bother with gift giving or don’t have any friends, still read this. Hopefully you will find this helpful at anytime in the future.

Feminine gifts

Ok so this one is one that I fully support, and it is a fujifilm instant camera. I actually have one and they are soooo cute and fun. Just snap a photo and then it prints out right then and there for you. You can take really cool pictures, but since I have really bad photography skills I took rather crappy ones. But if you have a low budget, I probably won’t recommend it. These things are pricey.

Blah pink. I don’t like pink. :p

Dude this is Valentine’s day, it’s literally a holiday about pink. Anyways the next one is chocolate covered strawberries. This gift is so classy and elegant, and who doesn’t like chocolate?

Me love chocolate… If I get this I will probably eat them all myself :p

And they have strawberries. Just make sure you don’t give this to someone who is allergic.

Then give them just chocolate. Just good ol chocolate. (chows on one)
